2Generation Hub

Thrive Together-Shelby County is a “2Generation” Hub designed to coach single- female-led families to progress from poverty to full stability by seamlessly aligning services that meet the needs of the whole family. It is housed on the University of Montevallo campus but is a collaboration between governmental, academic, social service, business and other entities within Shelby County, Alabama. Using a coaching model, Thrive Together works with the family to develop and achieve goals in education, career preparation, high-quality childcare, financial well-being, social capital, health, and wellness.
